The company: 

Our client is a dynamic scale-up based in Ghent, specialized in tailoring digital solutions for the management and preservation of digital assets. Most of their solutions and projects have to do with the creation of private digital archives. For example, they often help their clients at a strategic level in order to get their digital archives organized. 

The job: 

As a full stack developer, you will work on both the back and front end of the software platform. You will be responsible for:

• setting up CI/CD pipelines
• automatize the company’s testing
• developing migration and updating tools
• building the custom applications of the company’s clients
• designing the building blocks of the websites
• deciding what the websites will look like by creating and applying style guides

Very important: this is not a code-and-be-quiet-about-it kind of position! You will have the chance to think strategically about how to take the software to the next level.

Your profile: 

• Experience as a full stack developer
• Extensive knowledge of Java and Linux
• Devops mindset is a plus! (interest in Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, CI/CD)
• A good grasp of Angular and Typescript or other modern Javascript frameworks
• Knowledge of CSS, HTML
• A good grasp of the Dutch language
